Hi, I’m Paul Milligan – a professional wedding pianist with over 30 years of experience playing the piano and more than two decades performing live at weddings and special events. Based in the North of England, I provide elegant, live music across Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, and beyond, creating a beautiful atmosphere for every kind of celebration.

I have a huge repertoire of popular pop songs, jazz standards and classical favourites and I will happily tailor my style to suit your taste.

I specialise in performing instrumental arrangements of well-loved songs - ranging from timeless classics to modern pop and rock favourites - or creating a relaxed cocktail jazz ambience, adding a personal and memorable touch to your wedding day.

To make things even easier, if your venue doesn’t have a piano, I’ll bring my own stunning piano along with a white baby grand piano shell. It offers the look and feel of a real grand piano with the flexibility of a portable setup, ensuring you enjoy a beautiful live performance wherever you’re celebrating.

My speciality lies in contemporary pop piano, often with a subtle jazz twist when the mood calls for it. I carefully choose songs that mean something to you as a couple - well known favourites that I rework into fresh, instrumental arrangements that blend seamlessly into the atmosphere of your day.

Whether it’s a heartfelt version of your aisle song or a playful nod to your favourite artist during the drinks reception, my goal is always to make familiar songs feel new, meaningful, and deeply personal.

My repertoire spans everything from classics by Billy Joel, Elton John, The Beatles, and Frank Sinatra, to modern icons like Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, and Adele. I also love including popular movie and TV themes, which always bring a smile to guests' faces.

And if you have a special song in mind, I’m more than happy to learn it - especially for key moments like your walk down the aisle or your grand exit as newlyweds.

White Baby Grand Piano

I'm pleased to offer my beautiful white baby grand piano shell for any venue that doesn’t have its own piano. It’s included with all of my wedding packages at no additional cost.

Even if your venue has a piano indoors, this is a fantastic option if you'd like music in another space - such as an outdoor ceremony or a separate room for drinks or dining. The piano is digital, so it's fully portable and can be set to the perfect volume for each part of your day. I also bring a high-capacity battery, meaning there's no need for power sockets or trailing cables.

Not only does it sound great, but it looks the part too - often becoming a real conversation starter among guests.
